Do you think you’re coming down with Ebola? I doubt you do have it. Seriously, you don’t have it. Relax! Be rational! But, just in case, you can consult this handy diagram. (Wikipedia)
I predict that people will get increasingly hysterical watching other people or themselves come down with flu-like symptoms. Obama is not handling this AT ALL. It’s ridiculous that they let people out of Ebola outbreak countries to go anywhere and it’s ridiculous that they fly already sick people back here or back anywhere. Now they’re also flying sick people WITHIN the US to some other state. There’s no cure for this after all. The ones who are claimed to have “survived” Ebola probably didn’t have it in the first place. It’s very odd to watch what is being done, and isn’t here. I don’t think there will be some huge outbreak in the Western countries but it’s like they’re taking a chance with their lack of logical action. I also don’t think people understand how the numbers we are given about dead and infected in African countries are more than questionable. There is no proper system in place to get any type of real stats there for anything, including this. As per BBC news 3 days ago:
"How many people have died from Ebola in West Africa? It sounds an easy question, but the answer is certainly not. The most recent official figure from the World Health Organization puts the number of deaths at 4,493. But 12,000 could be a better estimate. Getting to this figure highlights a number of issues with the Ebola data."
"How many cases? First of all there is a fair bit of uncertainty about how many people have Ebola. The ones we know about stand at 8,997 - this is made up of confirmed, suspected and probable cases.”
